TURKISH STATE RAILWAYS ÇAMLIK STATION AREA

20 km

The project area covers Çamlık Station and 20 km of open line between Selçuk and Ortaklar stations on İzmir-Aydın-Denizli line in Turkey and it is the first application of IDIS’ signaling system on a mainline. The signaling system was designed to be fully compliant with EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129 requirements at SIL 4 level and under operation since 2019. The system currently signals 18 passenger trains and 6 freight trains per day at speeds up to 120 km/h. 100% Intellectual Property Right (IPR) of the interlocking S/W and 100% IPR of interlocking of the project’s H/W design are owned by IDIS. The system controls 8 point machines, 3 derailers, 31 signal LEDs, 30 Axle Counters, 1 Level Crossing, 27 Automatic Train Stop (ATS) magnets.
